Boost your weight loss!

There are huge number of weight loss recipes out there and it can be really disappointing for someone who has been trying to lose weight following these recipes religiously with no results.

I won’t lie saying that this drink has worked like magic and I lost a lot of kilos by just drinking this. So what has been working for me? To be honest…. I love eating! I am a total foodie!  But… I watch what I eat and how much I eat and I make it a point to exercise. Staying active is very important.. only diet will not give you a healthy fit body. You really need to work for it.

Boost your weight loss with this drink   – Lets look at the ingredients and how they work on your body

Cinnamon – A properly working digestive system is essential for weight management, and cinnamon is a natural way to encourage your digestive system to function in a healthier way. It stabilizes blood sugar levels and increases the metabolism of glucose.

Honey – While honey does contain sugar but, unlike refined sugar, honey contains beneficial vitamins and minerals as well. Honey has a healthier glycemic index (GI) than sugar, therefore it doesn’t cause a sugar rush, but it is gradually and progressively absorbed into our body. Thus, it helps boost and speed up the metabolism which helps the body burn fat.

Lemon – They’re rich in vitamin C, antioxidants and their acidity promotes good digestion and protects the liver. Lemons also have diuretic properties, which is detoxifying and therefore promotes the burning of fat.

Ginger –  Ginger is an excellent medicinal root with a long tradition of healing. It is  ideal for reducing inflammation, improving digestion, reducing cholesterol, general relaxation, and of course, burning fat. It specifically targets belly fat and helps to have a flatter abdomen.

Method – Boil 2 cups of water. To it add a medium cinnamon stick and an inch of ginger(crushed) and let it boil in low flame for about 10 – 15 mins. Take off the flame and let it come to a temperature suitable for drinking. Now strain 1/2 cup and add 1/2 tsp honey and 5 drops of lemon. Have it while its luke warm.  Keep the rest and have in the evening. For better effectiveness have twice 4 days a week. Once in the morning in empty stomach and and later in the evening.

But weight loss or otherwise, its always a good idea to have foods that benefits your body and this is definitely one of them! I would personally suggest don’t have this drink in the aim to loose weight.. rather exercise and follow a proper and healthy diet and this drink will give you a boost in your aim to have a fit body.
